Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Plaudit. By signing in you agree to them and to our Community Guidelines.

Who can use Plaudit

You must be at least 18 years old. One account per person. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for what is posted from it.

Your posts

You own what you post. You give Plaudit a licence to show, store and share your posts inside the app and on share cards, so other fans can see them.

Only post text and images you have the right to share. Do not post film footage, leaked stills or other people's photos without permission.

Zero tolerance for abuse

Debate is welcome. Abuse is not. We remove harassment, threats, hate based on caste, religion, gender or region, sharing personal details (doxxing), sexual or morphed images of real people, impersonation and spam, and we may suspend or delete accounts that do it.

You can report any post or account from its ⋯ menu. Moderators review every report.

Fan cards, badges and points

Fan cards, supporter badges, points and titles are fan community features. They are not official merchandise and do not mean a star, studio or production house endorses Plaudit.

Star rankings count active supporters. We may correct counts and remove fan cards or points gained through fake accounts or automation.

Stars, films and other rights

Names of stars and films identify what fans are discussing. If you hold rights in content shown on Plaudit and want it removed, contact the grievance officer listed in Settings.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by request on our website. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

We will update these terms as the app changes and show the date of the latest version here. Questions and complaints go to the grievance officer listed in Settings.
