Delete your account

You can delete your Plaudit account and its data at any time.

In the app (fastest)

Open Profile, tap Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. Deletion happens right away.

If you can't use the app

Email support@plaudit.in from the Gmail address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my Plaudit account". We confirm it's you and delete the account within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your profile, username, posts, photos, likes, reposts, saves, follows, fan cards, badges, points, notifications and notification tokens.

Posts that other people replied to become "This post was deleted" so their replies still make sense; your name and text are removed.

We keep brief records of moderation decisions where the law requires it.

This is a draft and will be reviewed before Plaudit's public launch.
