Post your take

Say what you thought of the interval, the songs, the climax. Tag the film or star so the right fans find it, in Telugu, English or both.

Follow a film and Plaudit tells you the morning it releases. On release day its page becomes a live room: first reactions, a verdict poll for fans who've watched it, and the box-office prediction.

Know who's talking

Verified accounts carry a mark next to their name, so you can tell an official team from a fan page and a critic from a troll. A person on our team checks every request.

Film critics, YouTube reviewers, trade analysts and journalists with at least 50,000 followers or subscribers.

Registered fan associations and large fan pages for one star.

Plaudit is built for loud opinions about films. It isn't built for abuse, and moderators review every report.

Is it free?

Yes. Plaudit is free to use, and nothing you could ever pay for changes a star's ranking or your fan title.

What's a Founding Fan?

One of the first 100 people on the waitlist. You get a Founding Fan flag in the app that you can show beside your name, or hide whenever you like. It's waiting for you the first time you sign in with the Gmail you joined with.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. Plaudit is starting on Android, and the iPhone app comes after.

Is Plaudit run by a star or a studio?

No. Plaudit is an independent fan community. It isn't affiliated with any film, star or studio. Official teams can apply for a verified account like anyone else.

Are predictions a kind of betting?

No. Predictions are free to play and no money is involved, ever. You get bragging rights and a record of how often you called it right.

Which languages can I post in?

Telugu, English, or a mix of both. The app's menus are in English for now.

Who can join?

Anyone aged 18 or over with a Google account.

What happens to my data?

We collect what we need to run Plaudit and keep it safe. We don't sell it and we don't use ad trackers. You can delete your account at any time. The privacy policy has the details.
